There is a special unspoken rule in China.
A wife can beat up her husband's lover.
A wife's brothers can beat up her cheating husband.
As long as the injury is not very serious, the case will basically not be filed.
Although the law prohibits harming others, most people don't care about such things as long as they don't kill anyone.
In the vast majority of cases, it is the wife who discovers her husband has slept with another woman.
The wife would wait outside the hotel with her family, and as soon as they came out, the wife would beat the woman and the others would beat the husband.
When others see this happening, they will quietly walk away and wait until they are tired of fighting before calling the police.
In the vast majority of cases, the injuries are minor, so there is no criminal liability.

The main reason is that in ancient times, the punishment for unfaithful men and women was to be thrown into the river.
In throwing men and women into the river, Confucianism achieved equality between men and women.

So most people think that this is very lenient, it's just a beating, if it were in the past, you should be at the bottom of the river now.
Especially when I watch Western movies and TV series, when a wife finds out her husband is cheating, she has to act rational and even tell herself to stay classy.
You are totally against human nature!
You should fight this woman right now because she is a bitch.

I didn't expect so many people to read this answer.
The beatings are basically carried out with bare hands, and no weapons are allowed to prevent criminal cases from occurring.
If the husband's mistress doesn't know he is married, the two women can beat the husband at the same time.
Similarly, if a husband's wife cheats on him, he can find a few women from his own family to beat his wife.
In order to ensure fairness, a family elder could be found to serve as a witness.
No matter what the situation, public opinion will only stand on the side of the person who has not cheated.

Why do so many women on this website emphasize that women who have sex with married men are innocent?
Why emphasize that you were deceived?
As an adult, do you not even know that the other person is married?
You slept with someone else without even knowing that the other person was married. How could you emphasize that you were innocent?
Having sex with a married man is immoral in itself.
Why do you like to destroy other people's families so much and then emphasize your own innocent?
Damn, are all women in your country so bad? They don't even have basic moral values?

What if the accusation is wrongful? Would the person beating up be punished then? How does the victim even ‘prove’ that he or she wasnt related to the other person romantically?

Basically, the woman brings her family and waits for her husband and other women to come out of the hotel.

In China, it is easy to find out whether a man is already married. 1. If you are in a relationship with a man, he should introduce you to his family and friends, proving that you are a future family member of the man. 2. Do you always choose a hotel when you sleep together? Are your date times always sneaky? Will a man show off his girlfriend on social media (those who have an affair will definitely not dare to show off), so if a normal woman, it takes less than three months to determine whether a man is married

Problem with that approach is, you often get it wrong, the person you thought is a criminal is actualy innocent. About 10–20% of legal verdicts are wrong, and when we add in vigilantism, we have way higher numbers. Now you acidentally killed an innocent. Great.

Evaggelos Panteloglou
About 10–20% of legal verdicts are wrong, and when we add in vigilantism, we have way higher numbers. Now you acidentally killed an innocent. Great.
So, as yourself write, the curt of law is often wrong. What’s happen then? Should we close down the courts?
Anyway, such low level fast vigilatism is much better for society, makes it more probable for people to think it twice, doesn’t burden the courts, and the cheated on have less chance to feel bitter for years on.

“If you find a stranger stealing a child, you can attack the trafficker first and then call the police. Even if you accidentally kill the trafficker, you will not go to jail.”
That is actually possible in America and most Western nations (I do not say all because I am not aware of EVERY law on the books everywhere) In the USA is falls under self-defence doctrine where you can use force, and up to deadly force, when necessary to protect yourself or other from death or harm when they are attacked.
The only limitation of the defence against rape is that you can not give chase or further attack a fleeing criminal.

This is a wrong answer. Accidentally killing a human trafficker is illegal and can result in imprisonment
If you report this situation to the police, they will usually say, 'We will arrive at the scene in ten or twenty minutes. It is now a rule of law society, please exercise restraint.' The implicit meaning is that you have the time to do what you want, but you cannot be too harsh, otherwise you will have to bear the corresponding consequences
So the suspect will not die from serious injuries
But after entering the detention center, the police will warmly introduce this suspect to other inmates
Both rapists and human traffickers are very miserable in detention centers and prisons in China

Western laws require evidence and a court to try the person before giving them a punishment. How many times has someone been beaten, but they didn't do the thing that people accused them of? The Western system isn't perfect, but it's much better than a system that allows people to be judge, jury, and executioner.

That’s your opinion, which is frxd by the collective thinking of your society.
They have their own thoughts on the subject. Based on their own experiences.
No one system is better than the other.

The main reason is that in ancient times, the punishment for unfaithful men and women was to be thrown into the river.
Interesting. Up until (well into?) the 19th century the punishment for unfaithul women in the (then Ottoman, now Greek) city of Jannina was to throw them into the adjacted lake. There is a very iconic story about an infamous pasha of the time who rounded up almost two dozen married women of good families under the accusation of infidelity and low morals and threw them into the lake.

You are totally against human nature!
You should fight this woman right now because she is a bitch.
People respond to acts of betrayal differently. Fighting the cheater (and even blaming yourself!) is just as humanly natural as confronting the third party.
I’m only the homewrecking bitch if I know the person with whom I’m in a relationship is already committed to someone else. As the victim of deceitful, adulterous men, you cannot insult me.

B K
No. If you’re truly innocent and find out that you’ve been lied to by a married man in China, you join his wife’s side in beating him. That is widely accepted in China.

Many international laws call China's barbaric private sanctions
In other words, modern law prohibits personal revenge.
It is not an individual taking revenge, but using the laws of the country to punish those who have done wrong.
In the past, when humans were ignorant, they used "Taglio's Law" as is.
However, we are now in a civilized society where private sanctions are prohibited and the government's public authorities are handling them.

Criticizing other country's law would mean allowing for reciprocation and others are free to to criticize your country’s dumbest laws. Such as — the South Korean law that forbids a threatened victim to inflict injury on a potential aggressor even during the instance of an impending life threatening danger, where the victim is only allowed to reciprocate when actual damage is done, at the same degree. This would be bullshit and many victims have been wrongly charged, many can't protect their own right to safety. Such policies are just created by foolish lawmakers and of course fools who graduated from law schools (as in your case). Laws are meant to make lives better and for society to progress better. Not to make sure that people bow to authority. In this sense the Chinese law, as the above, allow a small degree of flexibility to reflect society values, especially 情/정. Whereas the latter described in South Korea’s case, is simply stupidity.

In China, people can drink beer or alcohol on the street freely, which is very common in China. But it is not allowed in some western countries. By the way, there is also no age limit of drinking alcohol in China, all age people can enjoy their alcohol. (but many parents don’t allow their underage kids do it LOL)
Betel nut is allowed in China. It is a popular snack for young people, which is very common in grocery. But in some places in some countries like USA, India and Philippines, betel nut is banned because it is addictive in some way. (Also, betel nut is negative in some cases, which might lead to oral cancer if people eating betel nut over a long period of time. Recently, in China, more and more people realize that betel nut is dangerous and resist it, the media also call on people leave betel nut alone.)
Abortion. In China, abortion is legal, people are allowed to have abortions. But in some places in the USA, which is illegal. (this topic might sensitive I guess)

China has clear legal provisions prohibiting minors from drinking alcohol, and it is also illegal to sell alcoholic beverages to minors.
According to the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Minors" and the "Administrative Measures for the Circulation of Alcoholic Beverages," the following regulations apply:
Article 37 of the "Law on the Protection of Minors" stipulates: It is forbidden to sell tobacco and alcohol to minors. Retailers must display clear signs in prominent locations indicating that they do not sell tobacco or alcohol to minors. If it is difficult to determine whether a person is a minor, the seller must request valid identification. No one may smoke or drink alcohol in places where minors gather, such as classrooms, dormitories, activity rooms, etc., in primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, and nurseries.
Furthermore, the "Administrative Measures for the Circulation of Alcoholic Beverages" also emphasizes the prohibition of selling alcohol to minors.
Therefore, in China, it is illegal to sell alcoholic beverages to minors, and minors are also prohibited from drinking alcohol.

Eating dogs is legal in mainland China but illegal in all western countries.
Dog meat - Wikipedia
Roughly 20 million dogs are killed for consumption each year, making the People's Republic of China the world's largest consumer of dog meat.
Although consuming dog meat is not illegal in mainland China, the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture has never issued quarantine procedures for slaughtering dogs.
Dog meat - Wikipedia)
