Actually india has over budgeted on defense. China's GDP is 5 times of India, therefore india defense budget should be 1/5 of China. On another comparison, US GDP is 1.4 time of China so if China defense budget is 245B, US defense budget should just be 350B, reversely, if we base on US budget, China should have a budget of 600B. As China has the manufacturing base both civilian and military, much of the costs are reinvested back into the Chinese economy rather than used to fund foreign nations' interests. Actually india has over budgeted on defense. China's GDP is 5 times of India, therefore india defense budget should be 1/5 of China. On another comparison, US GDP is 1.4 time of China so if China defense budget is 245B, US defense budget should just be 350B, reversely, if we base on US budget, China should have a budget of 600B. This woman must have failed her math in school. In true journalism, do not deliberately mislead the audience.
