Let me give you a little bit of context regarding the "Marcos exposed the crooks" argument. Ps, I'm Filipino.
Marcos accidentally exposed the criminals because he did not had any achievements by the time of his state of the nation address in July 2025 after he lost the midterm elections badly. So he had to say something.
Unfortunately, none of the masterminds went to jail or was punished in any way and they protected who the Filipinos thought was the biggest mastermind, his cousin. So you can tell Marcos' "exposing the crooks" is just all talk, doesn't really amount to anything. And this is 1 trillion pesos we're talking about stolen in just 3 years. That's billions of dollars.
Marcos is also known to lie and break promises many times. I can give multiple examples if you ask for it.

You're genuinely naive if Tariffs is your argument between choosing China and US, truly. First of all, China has nothing to benefit from doing any tariffs, if anything all the other countries including Philippines would just because of their high trade surplus. US is being pragmatic by applying the Monroe doctine (now called Donroe doctrine, lol) through tariffs, this is a very complex political issue, but I assure you US' tariffs barely harms the Philippines, it's ultimately a global trade reshuffling and Philippines is one of the allied countries that will benefit from this in the long run (It is suffering from a huge trade imbalance)...
Don't mention tariffs if you don't know anything about basic economics and macroeconomics, some countries lose others win, this isn't as one-sided as you think. And besides, you're just stating too many opinions and speculations now, idk if I should even respond to it. It's the exact same narrative piece the Duterte dynasty is using, which I'm just tired of debating/arguing against over and over.
My point was simple, at the end of the day, Marcos was the only president in decades who had the courage to expose everyone even if it meant his own officials, and risk getting slandered by his political opponents. Sadly, too many uneducated Filipinos got bought by Chinese lixed propagandists/espionage and the Duterte's narratives (some people still believe the AI video his camp released of Marcos consuming cocaine lol). Idk how you guys can still believe a word they say, it's crazy.

As a Filipino, I'm using this as an oppotunity to finally push for home solar installments. I'm thinking of the brighter side that this is Earth saying we can't rely on fossil fuels when there are other alternatives that we always could have used. Oil will always be essential but usage of it must be decreased. We currently still have a lot of pristine beaches forests and nature worlds that have to be protected. This could be turned into a good situation if it pushes businesses, homes, and corporations to start using solar or wind energy both of whichw e have plenty(we have lots of winds and lots of sun. More sun energy per area because we are super cloes to the equator. So this way a bad situation can be turned upside down into a good one.

Let me give you a little bit of context regarding the "Marcos exposed the crooks" argument. Ps, I'm Filipino.
Marcos accidentally exposed the criminals because he did not had any achievements by the time of his state of the nation address in July 2025 after he lost the midterm elections badly. So he had to say something.
Unfortunately, none of the masterminds went to jail or was punished in any way and they protected who the Filipinos thought was the biggest mastermind, his cousin. So you can tell Marcos' "exposing the crooks" is just all talk, doesn't really amount to anything. And this is 1 trillion pesos we're talking about stolen in just 3 years. That's billions of dollars.
Marcos is also known to lie and break promises many times. I can give multiple examples if you ask for it.

You're genuinely naive if Tariffs is your argument between choosing China and US, truly. First of all, China has nothing to benefit from doing any tariffs, if anything all the other countries including Philippines would just because of their high trade surplus. US is being pragmatic by applying the Monroe doctine (now called Donroe doctrine, lol) through tariffs, this is a very complex political issue, but I assure you US' tariffs barely harms the Philippines, it's ultimately a global trade reshuffling and Philippines is one of the allied countries that will benefit from this in the long run (It is suffering from a huge trade imbalance)...
Don't mention tariffs if you don't know anything about basic economics and macroeconomics, some countries lose others win, this isn't as one-sided as you think. And besides, you're just stating too many opinions and speculations now, idk if I should even respond to it. It's the exact same narrative piece the Duterte dynasty is using, which I'm just tired of debating/arguing against over and over.
My point was simple, at the end of the day, Marcos was the only president in decades who had the courage to expose everyone even if it meant his own officials, and risk getting slandered by his political opponents. As a Filipino, I'm using this as an oppotunity to finally push for home solar installments. I'm thinking of the brighter side that this is Earth saying we can't rely on fossil fuels when there are other alternatives that we always could have used. Oil will always be essential but usage of it must be decreased. We currently still have a lot of pristine beaches forests and nature worlds that have to be protected. This could be turned into a good situation if it pushes businesses, homes, and corporations to start using solar or wind energy both of whichw e have plenty(we have lots of winds and lots of sun. More sun energy per area because we are super cloes to the equator. So this way a bad situation can be turned upside down into a good one.

作为菲律宾人，我对解决方案不抱希望。也许等局面到达临界点，政府发生彻底变革才是最好的。

Russia is a net Oil exporter, if you were keeping up with basic geopolitical news, you would learn that they're desperately looking for new customers due to sanctions. They produce significantly more oil than Iran.

has oil in their lands, some countries have natural oil reserves underground, even USa.have oil in Texas and some desert lands , not only middle east have oil. Oil is scrattrered in lands and different countries . pls do your research.
And yes someday we won’t rely on oil . Hopefully we can get another energy source that don’t use fossil fuel . Because oil is non renewable, once reserves are low we are doomed so we need to figure out other energy sources that don’t need fossil fuel
俄罗斯土地下面就有石油，有些国家有天然石油储备，甚至美国在德克萨斯州和一些沙漠地区也有石油，不光中东有。石油分布在世界各地的不同国家，请做做研究吧。
而且，总有一天我们不会再依赖石油。希望能找到不使用化石燃料的替代能源。因为石油是不可再生的，一旦储备告罄我们就完蛋了，所以我们需要找到不依赖化石燃料的其他能源。

Declaring an energy crisis is just a strategy to jack up petrol price now. keep in mind that petrol depots are filled by petrol that was bought cheaper 2 months ago and that politicians, and their wealthy relatives own or are major shareholders of petrol depots and gas stations.
