I think for children to grow up in China is better. the education, the environment, and all that. not saying China is perfect without its flaws and problems. it is at least heading in the right direction. manufacturing, production, building, development, trading, innovation. in the west, you have freedom and democracy and that is that. nothing can get done, no problem to be fixed, just forever war of words.

The only children that get to ride free on school buses in the uSSa are the "special kids", mentally and / or physically disabled. Regular children have to find their own way to and from school, either public transit or getting a ride from family or walking or riding a bicycle.

Have you noticed people on their scooters without helmets? There is no time to dilly dally. I remember my school bus in South Africa did the same. In fact we were always walking around and being rowdy on the bus, until one day two boys were rough housing and they rough housed right out of the window. Only then did the bus driver prohibit us from standing. good old times.

I would like to say this school bus driver are not safe , the driver attitude, he or she did not stop the bus entirely and never wait for the children sit before move off .... Everyone saw it so rude and not considerate safety of children ... I watched a lot of YouTube about traffic in China , nearly 8 out of 10 China driver impatient, inconsiderate , scam insurance by purposely run toward incoming vehicle , local government never do their job by restrictions population of E-bike, E-scooters , they no need to have license in the road .....

I just saw your video "are foreigners treated differently in China?" in which you vented your frustrations about being treated rather unfairly by two Chinese individuals in the dog pound. Just from this experience, you labelled China as anti foreigners. Goodness!!!! Grow up!! I think it was during the covid period when life for everybody was edgy. I live in Australia, and I can tell you that during the covid period Chinese students were bashed up in public areas. Do I label Australia as anti foreigners? No I don't. It is not perfect and the same goes with China. Australia has a population of 27m and China 1.4b. Chances are there will be more negative human encounters in China. Does China forbid you medical treatment for you and your child? Refuse your child from public school? Refuse you accomodation? Forbid you eating in restaurants and travelling in public transports? You are from South Africa and you should remember the treatment of your fellow Africans during the apartheid period. What do these coloured people do wrong to be treated so badly in their own country?

Relax Peter that video was like 6 years ago. Maybe look at my other videos, i have never once labelled China as anti-foreigner, in fact my videos are all positive. Lets not crucify people for one video in which i felt emotional for trying to help and being shunned to the point that they made my daughter cry. We cant pretend that its always just rainbows and butterflies. Every place has good and bad and I ALWAYS highlight the good in all my videos because I love living in China. I didnt even remember that that videos exists until you mentioned it. Wish you a good day.

Also, 900 people watched the video compared to the 60 thousand people who watched my video where I explain why I CHOOSE to raise my child in China and not elsewhere. Do you know how far back I had to scroll to find that video (which i have privated now since you found it so upsetting), i really dont know what your intention was to comment on it on this video? And please dont bring South Africa into this conversation, there is a reason I left home and havent seen my family for a decade and its because I would much rather raise my child here. If the sentiments in that video were so anti foreigner why would I still be here when I could be with family? Its because I choose to be here and I have made that abundantly clear in all my videos. Im a person, Peter, with my own problems and heartaches and struggles, do you even know how much abuse i get on youtube from anti-China folk? Do you know that i have received death threats because i speak positively about China? do you know that grown men, STRANGERS ON THE INTERNET have told me that they will make sure i lose custody of my child because its abusive to raise her in this country. Do you know the horrid slurs i get called in comments that get automatically flagged because I show the good side of China? No you dont. So for you to come on here and attack me for ONE emotional video (which lets face it wasnt even that bad) is diabolical. I suggest you consider these things more carefully in the future when you decide to go on a rant on the internet.

General speaking Chinese people are very kind, good hearted people, these things do happen, even to me when i was in Hong Kong it happened to me as well. Hong Kong people are even worse, more rude than people in China, trust me, when i say this. People in China are more courteous, kind natured, always willing to help you, its better if you can speak Mandarin aka Potunhua, which i don't, i can only speak Gungdong Hua aka Cantonese a little bit. It was years ago and I have since learned to remember that we are all people who deal with our own things- perhaps the individuals we encountered that day were having a bad day themselves? Who is to say. No one has ever walked up to us completely unprovoked and treated us poorly, most people couldnt care less about us but for the most part, we have experienced an abundance of kindness here. I find foreigners much more rude. I am raising a child and choose to raise her to be compassionate and kind. I assure you she wouldnt even be able to remember what happened that day. In a moment of being emotional about it ~ cause lets face it everyone was exhausted and high strung during covid times~ i made a video talking about the experience. If i make only positive videos about China i get accused of being held hostage by the Chinese government and being forced to make videos if I talk about one negative experience, i get crucified too. I cant keep everyone happy. all i can ask is people to be kinder to one another. Life is tough enough as it is. kindness costs nothing. Thank you for your comment!

Prices here are very expensive, especislly accomodation, food, in China its a little cheaper especially the food. But imported food products is expensive there in China. One day i'd like to retire in China.

@nadineinChina I can assure you that I have no malicious intent. My folks left China to bring up their family in Singapore. It was out of necessity as China at that time was dominated by the Qing rulers from Manchuria for more than 250 years and bullied by many countries especially from the west. That explains why Macao, Hong Kong and Taiwan were taken away from them. Now China is the west favourite whipping boy for its success story. Every thing that goes wrong in the world is all China's fault including covid and climate change.Your video with its catchy headline draws me to it. I can understand that you need a catchy headline to attract viewership. There are many anti China videos in YouTube with malicious disinformation which I ignore. But your video on that on "foreigners in China" just don't quite gel with the video on "school bus" and in fact I was quite surprised that you choose to live in China after that dog pound incident.

Why would I trade an excellent life in China for elsewhere because of one bad experience? it was years ago. i even forgot about that. The reason i have my channel and showcase our life here is because during the covid outbreak it enraged me to see people speak so ill towards China when they had no idea what they were talking about. China is my home, has been for a long time, my daughter was born here, and I will always defend it against any western bullies which you can find easily in my comment section. Hell even some Chinese bully me, and speak ill of China and I am not sure why. So when you accuse me of labelling China as anti foreigner it hurts a lot because I make all my videos to show people the real, true life in China. The food, the people, the culture, the community, the advanced technology, and everything else we love about it. I hope you can give me some grace for something i posted so long ago that was probably the only negative video i ever made on here and then forgot about it. Anyway, i hope you can watch some more of our videos because my daughter and I love our little adventures. I highly suggest u check out our series of videos of our trip to kazuo during golden week.

I think for children to grow up in China is better. the education, the environment, and all that. not saying China is perfect without its flaws and problems. it is at least heading in the right direction. manufacturing, production, building, development, trading, innovation. in the west, you have freedom and democracy and that is that. nothing can get done, no problem to be fixed, just forever war of words.

The only children that get to ride free on school buses in the uSSa are the "special kids", mentally and / or physically disabled. Regular children have to find their own way to and from school, either public transit or getting a ride from family or walking or riding a bicycle.

Have you noticed people on their scooters without helmets? There is no time to dilly dally. I remember my school bus in South Africa did the same. In fact we were always walking around and being rowdy on the bus, until one day two boys were rough housing and they rough housed right out of the window. Only then did the bus driver prohibit us from standing. good old times.

I would like to say this school bus driver are not safe , the driver attitude, he or she did not stop the bus entirely and never wait for the children sit before move off .... Everyone saw it so rude and not considerate safety of children ... I watched a lot of YouTube about traffic in China , nearly 8 out of 10 China driver impatient, inconsiderate , scam insurance by purposely run toward incoming vehicle , local government never do their job by restrictions population of E-bike, E-scooters , they no need to have license in the road .....

I just saw your video "are foreigners treated differently in China?" in which you vented your frustrations about being treated rather unfairly by two Chinese individuals in the dog pound. Just from this experience, you labelled China as anti foreigners. Goodness!!!! Grow up!! I think it was during the covid period when life for everybody was edgy. I live in Australia, and I can tell you that during the covid period Chinese students were bashed up in public areas. Do I label Australia as anti foreigners? No I don't. It is not perfect and the same goes with China. Australia has a population of 27m and China 1.4b. Chances are there will be more negative human encounters in China. Does China forbid you medical treatment for you and your child? Refuse your child from public school? Refuse you accomodation? Forbid you eating in restaurants and travelling in public transports? You are from South Africa and you should remember the treatment of your fellow Africans during the apartheid period. What do these coloured people do wrong to be treated so badly in their own country?

Relax Peter that video was like 6 years ago. Maybe look at my other videos, i have never once labelled China as anti-foreigner, in fact my videos are all positive. Lets not crucify people for one video in which i felt emotional for trying to help and being shunned to the point that they made my daughter cry. We cant pretend that its always just rainbows and butterflies. Every place has good and bad and I ALWAYS highlight the good in all my videos because I love living in China. I didnt even remember that that videos exists until you mentioned it. Wish you a good day.

Do you know how far back I had to scroll to find that video (which i have privated now since you found it so upsetting), i really dont know what your intention was to comment on it on this video? And please dont bring South Africa into this conversation, there is a reason I left home and havent seen my family for a decade and its because I would much rather raise my child here. If the sentiments in that video were so anti foreigner why would I still be here when I could be with family? Its because I choose to be here and I have made that abundantly clear in all my videos. Im a person, Peter, with my own problems and heartaches and struggles, do you even know how much abuse i get on youtube from anti-China folk? Do you know that i have received death threats because i speak positively about China? do you know that grown men, STRANGERS ON THE INTERNET have told me that they will make sure i lose custody of my child because its abusive to raise her in this country. Do you know the horrid slurs i get called in comments that get automatically flagged because I show the good side of China? No you dont. So for you to come on here and attack me for ONE emotional video (which lets face it wasnt even that bad) is diabolical. I suggest you consider these things more carefully in the future when you decide to go on a rant on the internet.

General speaking Chinese people are very kind, good hearted people, these things do happen, even to me when i was in Hong Kong it happened to me as well. Hong Kong people are even worse, more rude than people in China, trust me, when i say this. People in China are more courteous, kind natured, always willing to help you, its better if you can speak Mandarin aka Potunhua, which i don't, i can only speak Gungdong Hua aka Cantonese a little bit. It was years ago and I have since learned to remember that we are all people who deal with our own things- perhaps the individuals we encountered that day were having a bad day themselves? Who is to say. No one has ever walked up to us completely unprovoked and treated us poorly, most people couldnt care less about us but for the most part, we have experienced an abundance of kindness here. I find foreigners much more rude. I am raising a child and choose to raise her to be compassionate and kind. I assure you she wouldnt even be able to remember what happened that day. In a moment of being emotional about it ~ cause lets face it everyone was exhausted and high strung during covid times~ i made a video talking about the experience. If i make only positive videos about China i get accused of being held hostage by the Chinese government and being forced to make videos if I talk about one negative experience, i get crucified too. I cant keep everyone happy. all i can ask is people to be kinder to one another. Life is tough enough as it is. kindness costs nothing. Thank you for your comment!

Prices here are very expensive, especislly accomodation, food, in China its a little cheaper especially the food. But imported food products is expensive there in China. One day i'd like to retire in China.

@nadineinChina I can assure you that I have no malicious intent. My folks left China to bring up their family in Singapore. It was out of necessity as China at that time was dominated by the Qing rulers from Manchuria for more than 250 years and bullied by many countries especially from the west. That explains why Macao, Hong Kong and Taiwan were taken away from them. Now China is the west favourite whipping boy for its success story. Every thing that goes wrong in the world is all China's fault including covid and climate change.Your video with its catchy headline draws me to it. I can understand that you need a catchy headline to attract viewership. There are many anti China videos in YouTube with malicious disinformation which I ignore. But your video on that on "foreigners in China" just don't quite gel with the video on "school bus" and in fact I was quite surprised that you choose to live in China after that dog pound incident.

Why would I trade an excellent life in China for elsewhere because of one bad experience? it was years ago. i even forgot about that. The reason i have my channel and showcase our life here is because during the covid outbreak it enraged me to see people speak so ill towards China when they had no idea what they were talking about. China is my home, has been for a long time, my daughter was born here, and I will always defend it against any western bullies which you can find easily in my comment section. Hell even some Chinese bully me, and speak ill of China and I am not sure why. So when you accuse me of labelling China as anti foreigner it hurts a lot because I make all my videos to show people the real, true life in China. The food, the people, the culture, the community, the advanced technology, and everything else we love about it. I hope you can give me some grace for something i posted so long ago that was probably the only negative video i ever made on here and then forgot about it. Anyway, i hope you can watch some more of our videos because my daughter and I love our little adventures. I highly suggest u check out our series of videos of our trip to kazuo during golden week.
