The UK should be imposing sanctions on the Israelis for thousands of crimes including the complete destruction of Gaza, not aiding and abetting it by bombing the Houthis who are almost the only ones taking action to try and stop it.
It is not "self-defence" it is aiding and abetting GENOCIDE.

How is attacking international shipping going to help the people of Gaza? Some of those ships have nothing to do with western governments. Yes what is happening to innocent people in Gaza is awful, but this is not the answer, it will only bring death and destruction on their own people.

That's what drones are for, they are a disposable aircraft they do their missions and are lost sometimes. The point is no highly trained aircrew are put at risk. The carrier is not out there on its own it is part of a taskforce. If a carrier was damaged do they think that would stop the mission? It would only end in the USA using overwhelming force. They could still bomb the whole of Yemen and Iran back to the stone age.
