In those times kings used to invest in universities, therefore we got scholars. Nowadays the govt invests in freebies, that's why we get free loaders. - simple and brilliant explanation of India's social and educational issues

I am located in USA on H1B. I started a start-up for Sports in India. My start up rendered top-notch sports services for several National and International tournaments hosted by Government. Despite of investing around ~80-90 lacs in execution, have not received a single rupee from government even after an year! It require 40-50% commission (you know what I mean) in advance to get payment released. I paid total 30 lacs in GST in 2020. Department later found out its 600 Rs. less than what it should be, They imposed 10,000 INR Penalty, Interest so I ended up spending total 25,000 INR to settle a matter of 600 Rs. I purchased a land to establish a manufacturing unit and I am not able to do anything because government have imposed a Stamp Theft case of 30 Lacs because I denied 1000 Rs. bribe to registrar. I tried my best to love India but ultimately Yes I hate India (Though I love India in my heart) and I'd rather do slavery here in USA.

14:59 really?, I'll give you my example, when i was in 12th i cleared my jee mains, in advance i got 83 percentile, the cut off for open was 86 percentile, i missed my chance by 3 percentile, in the same year cut off for obc was 54 percentile, so your telling me that a guy who scored 55 percentile is more eligible than a guy who scored 83 nice. In countries like USA and other developed countries your H1B or working visa is directly connected to skills required in that country, what's wrong in that?, We are outsiders in their country and they have the right to choose who stays and who is required to make their country better, what development do you get from Indian reservation system, be rational. Expected better from you.

@mrs9305
A few facts you got wrong. On main thing is “Univ charges double the fee for foreign student”. They actually charge double the fee to out of state students. So if a student from Arizona decides to student in CA, even if a student is US citizen, they have to pay out-of-state tuition fee.

As a student, I would prefer studying abroad, like in the U.S., because Indian degrees often aren’t recognized internationally. For instance, an MBBS degree from India only permits practice within the country, while someone trained abroad can return and practice in India after just one exam. So, it makes sense to invest more in a foreign degree that’s valid globally. That’s why many students go abroad—they pay in foreign currency and aim to earn in it too, often delaying their return. The government should ensure that Indian qualifications are recognized globally, or at least make the licensing process equal for both Indian and foreign-trained students.

Completed my bachelor's in India with 1st class scores. Applied to 1000 companies got rejection everywhere cause they want us to work with a beginner salary with 10 years of experience. If you won't give opportunities how will we get experience. Then I got the opportunity to study and work in USA. No experience asked no reservations nothing got hired in a multinational company on my skills. I am on H1B nothing wrong with it. I love India but we have to improve our working sectors that is one real truth.

India may grow up to be a developed country in the near future BUT those who are in their twenties don't have the luxury to wait till that happens. If we keep on waiting for our country to develop, our youth would be spent already by that tym

Most Indians don’t live in Tier 1 cities—they live in Tier 2/3 or rural areas where basic needs are a daily struggle. In 2015, my local municipality dug random road patches, halving road width and causing traffic jams. Months passed, nothing was fixed. Even today, those spots are used to park private buses. The water supplied was so yellow it looked like urine—I couldn’t even bathe with it. Despite paying endless taxes, we don’t get clean roads, air, or water. I finally moved to the US through my company, which helped with relocation and my green card. Honestly, I can’t live there anymore—it felt like hell to me. I was so frustrated.

@Sohaib_alam96
Good points raised, but maybe we also need to talk about how Indian education and job markets push people abroad in the first place. The solution should be twofold and love your analysis :)

@Imtreaty
0:28 it's not completely true...My sister is currently in Miami for deep-sea research. In India, the equipment and infrastructure for such research are of poor quality, and the education policy does not support research-oriented careers effectively. As a result, she was forced to pursue her career abroad.

@pureintelligence-shree
Also if possible try to make a video on how phd students in india are treated by their supervisors even in elite institutes in India. Is there a requirement of change in policy to safeguard these students?

@dailykidsfun
In India education has become "Business" long back. Yaha pe caste n religion aur baki chizo pe he admissions milte hai. General category me paida hona ek paap hai, even after getting good marks "no admissions" for brilliant brains

@pranavkhan1275
I think as a country America is doing good for their citizens and economy and here we Indians needs to understand that there is place for us safer than India. I know we have bad education system as well as job market is very competitive but but but we have to figure out a way how we can put ourselves as the macroeconomic conditions have changed a lot and it will change further as we grow

@saurabhkakkar8258
Honestly i am working in London here it's kind of a modern white man slavery but job environment is way much better here than of India, working culture in India is so toxic, owners and managers treat employees worst than slaves in India, Indian community is huge in uk and no one wants to go back, we only have one life and every one of us wants to live in peace and prosperity which in India for middle class like us is not at all possible..

@harshithj2995
But i feel this can help in development of india because students who can go there r obviously very intelligent nd these brains were before developing other countries but now will only develop our country! So I feel it's a good news for INDIA

@pureintelligence-shree
Please make a video on "why in recent days indian elite institutes like iits, iisers,iisc, isi, tifr, cmi, imsc prefer phds/ postdocs from 1st world countries as their faculty members over phds/postdocs from indian institues?"

@cstanvinaik2010
It’s for all nationalities not only for Indians and as it is do u think Indian degrees r not enough when our India is standing 4th and heading towards 3rd place in world economy. we r here in US and happy to see the progress of India and Abhi there will be day when we won’t need to go out for anything

@hobokenmommy
There are factors other than education and money for students to consider going out of India. Being a woman (even in metro city of Mumbai) I felt unsafe every time I stepped out of house. When I reached USA, I realised it can be different and I don’t need to be afraid. Fixing education system is just one piece of the puzzle. How do you fix the mentality of people in the country? Basic cleanliness is a problem. Forget about small towns, even in metro city of Mumbai, there are localities(not slums, but skyscrapers) that have uncovered sewage drains. India needs to focus on addressing these basics first.

@justaplatipus
Guys i know you like this channel so much but still studying abroad is a lot better than studying here in india, skills vise, opportunity vise and environment vise. Don't let your patriotism kill your future and your families expectations. India has a lot of good universities but abroad universities are a lot better. Usa has crime, a lot of discrimination but india is daddy here in terms of discrimination and crimes. Be smart and rational for yourselves and your family. Love and peace.

@shubham6596
Umm i am just 20 yrs old and i am a NEET aspirant and i gave 2 attempts for this exam for me becoming a doctor is my dream and i don't want to do any other job but in india it looks impossible there are more than 20 lakhs students giving exam with only 45k seats (govt) rest are pvt which is not affordable at all so there is no other option for me to fulfill my dream except that i move to any other country and this is scary that i want to do i can do but the competition is that high that cutoff clear he nahi hota and even after i get in govt clg then more 5 years and then 2 yrs (minimum) for PG and then i have to do SS which means if i stay in india and try to acheve my dream and want to get paid good that will take almost 10 yrs whereas in other country its easy to get clg and has a mid amount of money to do my MBBS and after MBBS only i will get paid more or equal than what i will get paid after doing PG so isn't going to other country worth the risk? being in india and want to be doctor is scary

@mohitpatel6943
Super well said bhaiya, as I am in Netherlands since 5 year after giving everything to this guys we still face racism now I am finding way to get back to India. now it's time build our nation rather than working for bullshit guy.

@whoIam-xx2zm
Why would a student go abroad if they could get job or research opportunities, a better lifestyle, and quality education in India? Students are often forced to go abroad just to receive what they truly deserve. Take the example of Har Gobind Khorana—Nobel Laureate in Medicine (1968)—who had to leave India because he couldn’t find proper research infrastructure or funding here. Similarly, Dr. Manu Prakash, the inventor of the Foldscope and a Stanford professor, left India due to the lack of hands-on, innovation-driven science labs. There are many more examples like these. If the government cannot provide for students’ needs and value them, then why would students choose to stay in India?

@Mohi-i4x
As a (lower caste) from India the first time i thought to leave India is because here people workship "RESERVATION" and who's in loss? we students who genuinely study but government choose anpadh people instead us.

@SB12691
Tbh I don't agree with this pov that h1b visas sextion and reservation in India are kinda same. Prioritising visas on the basis of professions is not bad on a neutral perspective every country should look out for their national interests. What's good for their country and what's not. Whereas reservation in India is nothing but discrimination on the basis of which community you are born (that is nothing but sheer dumb luck) which is practised for vote bank politics by corrupt politicians(indian politicians) for decades,

@noble_lime
People saying "O why not contribute to our country" well when will gunda raj stop, when will language war stop, when will corruption stop, when will proper development happen, when will people stop religion wars, when will people stop killing each other, when will smart people get respect. Tell me when this happen and then say we should contribute in India. Also first see the countries condition and then compare it with other countries

@pm7805
I had to go abroad only when i was not let to do my job and when i saw almost no opportunity in my field. Remember, there are sectors like that still in India - Energy. But on the bright side, I served the nation for a decade without thinking anything else until my existence was on table. But today the story is different. One thing India must do is to reduce population. It is not just investment in various sectors. Else the India will drive itself into ground.

Sir your so many points are right but some points are absolutely shaking. I am leaving in USA from 2016 on H1B. I am not doing any comparison here but here my kids are going in Govt/Public schools and public schools standards are very high because Govt and leaders are giving donations but main reasons are teachers are not coming from reservations so teachers are well qualified in public schools also.
