Lack of better services push away even those upper middle class families who can afford expensive Tesla. If they manufacture in India they can solve both these problems. India is a large market and a growing economy. In next decade India will transform a lower middle income country to a upper middle income country. So Tesla is losing this big Market by not setting up a manufacturing base now

In reality, Tesla is supposed to be “affordable” EV cars because the model Y is around $40k which is about Rs 37 lakhs. This would technically make it fall under mid range priced cars. Because of tariffs it’s over Rs 60 lakhs. You always have competition among similarly priced cars. That’s what the video meant by falling in premium band which you completely misunderstood and called it “overpriced”. I’m just pointing to your mistake.

Lack of better services push away even those upper middle class families who can afford expensive Tesla. If they manufacture in India they can solve both these problems. So Tesla is losing this big Market by not setting up a manufacturing base now

In reality, Tesla is supposed to be “affordable” EV cars because the model Y is around $40k which is about Rs 37 lakhs. This would technically make it fall under mid range priced cars. Because of tariffs it’s over Rs 60 lakhs. You always have competition among similarly priced cars. That’s what the video meant by falling in premium band which you completely misunderstood and called it “overpriced”. I’m just pointing to your mistake.
