Which country would you recommend? And why? Iwant to go backpacking for 1 month. It is my first time, and I want to do it as cheap as possible. I would love to have a nice local experience, and not go to a place full with tourists/travelers.

In my personal opinion, I would highly recommend people to visit New Zealand, Australia and Spain. New Zealand and Australia have pristine scenery, New Zealanders and Australians are hospitable towards guests, the food is fantastic. The other reason why I would recommend Spain is Spain has great flamenco dance performances and tourist attractions.

Personally I recommend if you haven’t already visit Italy.
Italy has it all. It would take a life time to explore all the wonders Italy has to offer.
You can got to Rome and see the Vatican City and historical center of Rome. Then you have Florence which is breathtakingly beautiful and filled with tons of famous art work, such as, “The David”. Stop in Venice and see the sinking city.
Go to Sorrento, Capri and the Amalfi Cost to see the most breathtaking scenery in the world.
Enjoy delicious Pasta, Meats, Cheese, Wine, Pizza and much much more. By far Italy and France have the most delicious found in the world.
Italy has it all Great Food, History, Art and Beautiful Scenery.
There are many places in the world to visit each filled with its own unique qualities but in my humble opinion Italy should be at the top of your to visit list. I’ve been there 4 times and can’t wait to go back.
