2021年6月17日，搭载神舟十二号载人飞船的长征运载火箭，在酒泉卫星发射中心成功发射，顺利进入预定轨道，将聂海胜、刘伯明、汤洪波3名航天员送入太空。
2021年9月16日，神舟十二号载人飞船撤离空间站组合体，9月17日13时30分许，神十二返回舱在东风着陆场安全降落，3名航天员聂海胜、刘伯明、汤洪波安全返回。
3名太空员在轨90天，圆满完成了任务。
