The Perez comparison didn’t occur to me and now I’m annoyed it didn’t. It really does seem similar.I think Zhou is fast enough to stay in on merit, and if it ever got close the money and Chinese interest he could bring is probably enough to swing and close decision towards him

I remember him getting a ton of hate on reddit when he got announced as an Alfa Romeo-driver, just because he was chinese and was a "pay driver"....Safe to say that Zhou has silenced his critics. He's a capable driver, and has had a great rookie season. Also seems to be a nice, down to earth guy who deserve his spot in F1.Looking forward to what he can achieve. I feel that people need to give him time so he can show his true self.

I never disliked him or thought he was undeserving of the seat, but the moment I grew respect for him was when he tried that overtake on Monaco and almost crashed. At least he tried!

Puts in solid work, his overtaking has been good and hasn't caused a ton of crashes.it's a shame he's gotten better while the car has gotten worse. If it was still like the first couple of races he'd been scoring solid points most races
