If you go to a restaurant and order a pizza, and the kitchen doesn't want to serve you a pizza because they don't personally like pizza, then of course you're gonna leave and go to a restaurant that serves you the damn pizza. It's not a hard concept to understand but for some reason Western devs keep trying to serve us salad when that ain't what we asked for then they wonder why people leaving. It's ridiculous.

When China, Japan, or other Asian producers have ANY form of adaptive material to work with they are DEEPLY respectful of the source material and take it as a duty to give the FANS what they want. Western devs think they can do better than what their given, and try using these inherited voices to spread their own agendas and insult the old fans to replace them with new ones.

the issue with the western tripla A bs industry is that they think 2 things; everygamer is liberal, and every gamer is a gta5/fifa/cod player and nothing else. They think that by going for realism they'll get sucess because every time they see twitter they see people like DSP praising a game for it's graphics so instead of having colorful good looking things we consistently get muddy, sh1tty looking hyper realistic graphics. Some big youtubers say games have bad graphics if they don't strain their GPU, it's insanity.
