U may not realize Australian Fed govt broke the law in order to revoke the lease agreement. The lease agreement enacted in 2016, earlier than the law to enact the right to revoke the Darwin Port lease agreement (2022). Australia uses Common Law that does not allow retroactive power on contract. The law passed in 2022 can NOT revoke the lease agreement in 2016. Australian Fed govt just broke the law to create another law.

U may not realize Australian Fed govt broke the law in order to revoke the lease agreement. The lease agreement enacted in 2016, earlier than the law to enact the right to revoke the Darwin Port lease agreement (2022). Australia uses Common Law that does not allow retroactive power on contract. The law passed in 2022 can NOT revoke the lease agreement in 2016. Australian Fed govt just broke the law to create another law.
