@miroslavkretija680
Happy to see people enjoy the life in China, i was living in China for 1 year but due minor injury i had, i returned to my home country because i didnt had social security, while life is really good and people are very nice, its still a very problematic place for foreigners to actually work legally, atleast in my case, even im married to a Chinese person, it actually just guarantee your stay in China, not the legal work, so working in china on family residence still makes you violate the law which is bad, by the way Lizzy your videos are great keep doing a good job.

I just know the green train is normal train with bed sleeping overnight. Passengers are able to save hotel cost travel to far destinations .

I really like your videos and I feel happy for you and your mom! Here’s something I need to explain about Chinese people speak little English, just in case anyone is wondering:
China is not an English speaking country. English is only a tool for us to communicate with other people in the world. We learn it from elementary school all the way to university. Younger people definitely have better English skill. However, we don’t have the environment to use this language very often in China. It is great if a Chinese can speak English, but it’s totally ok if they don’t speak English at all. For people who want to live or is living in China, learning Chinese is gonna make your life easier as China has no interest in adding any other languages to the official language list in the visible future.

Enjoy yourselves, you should be grateful for the wonderful weather over there, because this time of the year in the south of china there is unbearble and excessive heat

mom's like "clam down girl", how long it takes for your mom to get a China ID card? ie., resident card. I can't wait for your next Video on Dali (I heard it is very beautiful place).

@RealKevinChan
I think competitive team sports was never a big thing in China throughout its history.
Most competitive sports involved individuals like modern-day track & field events (plus horse riding, archery, etc., in days of old), not so much teams.
Very few sports involve physical confrontation between the competitors (except the martial arts I guess, but it's not really a sport is it?) likely because the possibilty of physically hurting your opponent in order to win a game/competition was considered "unbecoming for a gentleman."
So, although football (soccer) is also a contact sport, its popularity in China is way ahead of "rougher" sports like rugby which you have to tackle literally your opponent.

I still believe that American trains are more advanced and superior. Maybe that's an American thing and it's in our DNA to be exceptional.

@lagrangewei
almost everyone in japan and china learn english. almost noone in japan and china speak english. its actually difficult to speak a language you only learn in school. I was taught german in school. i can't speak a single word of it now. =]

@user-se7pw4qn6u
English language is taught in schools but because there are few English speaking opportunities and mandarin is the national spoken language, Chinese people do not speak much English. What is most important when in a foreign country is not to wonder why the local population do not speak our language. Rather we should be trying to speak in their language. It is just like you visit someone else home, you follow their home rules and not your own.

You can do bilateral trade between China and the South. Sell Chinese goods to South Africa, and then sell South African goods to China.

@chunlansinggen2354
Don't worry all the stuffs in South Africa are made in China already that's since 10 yrs ago. China can teach SA Govt how to generate & maintain the electricity supply in return

@engleelim2508
Didn't know S.Africa has 11 official language and guess what is China's official language... I would like to see what is your mom's reaction if she were to travel to Japan or S.Korea. See if she can communicate with the locals there in English. "International Language" means nothing to the common people that do not have to interact with foreigners. Lastly, those countries with its people that is fluent in English, in some point in history, were colonised.

@jlee8181
China is a very big country and a population of 1.4 billion. If 5% can speak English that's 70million but china is a very large country. Spread 70 million over the country you may not heard English very much. Also amongst themselves they speak mandarin. 70million is more than the whole population of S Africa

@RM-qw3xz
English maybe the international language, but it's not an official language of China. People in China can live quite comfortably without knowing any English. In Japan, English proficiency is much lower than in China. Let's just say that China ends up as the next global hegemon, people are supposed to speak Mandarin, but will your mother want to learn Mandarin? Even now, reality is that the USA is no longer the global hegemon; China isn't either, but more people outside of China should really be speaking Mandarin. No, the USA won't stay the global hegemon forever. Some people think that India will be the next global hegemon. English is an official language of India, but only about 9% of the Indian population speaks English. Most Indians speak Hindi. Maybe we will all have to learn Hindi.

@user-dt6iz8hu6h
Lizzy's mom said that South Africa has 11 languages, but everyone can communicate in English. It seems like a matter of course, but in fact, South Africa has a history of being a colonized country. Did they have the right to choose their official language before achieving full independence? English is just one language—why should everyone be expected to speak it?
It's 2024, yet this colonizer-centric mentality still persists. How pathetic!

@zaoan636
English is an official language in South Africa, but it is not in China. China has 141 dialects(languages),, China‘s official language is Manderin, most everyone speaks Manderin.

@Gamerzombiepro1
Why aren't you moving to sweden? the air is good, have kpop, have anime, have Minecraft, nice teachers, freedom, higher HDI and higher gpd per capita and safe? (i mean china is a great country but how about sweden?)

@Hongsebaoshi
Also you can't just go into the comment section and force people to like Sweden, if they prefer China than you should shut up. Also Sweden is breaking apart because of an immigration crisis
