In Europe and the United States, due to the universality of agricultural production and the relatively narrow rural roads, high-horsepower, lightweight tricycles are more popular. These tricycles can effectively meet the needs of farm transportation and daily commuting.

The data show that China's tricycle exports show a significant growth trend. In the first 10 months of this year, Luoyang related enterprises exported a total of 13,000 tricycles, and the annual export volume is expected to exceed 12 million US dollars. This data is only a microcosm of the overall picture of China's exports of machinery and electrical products. According to the latest statistics of the General Administration of Customs, from January to November 2023, China's exports of mechanical and electrical products reached 1.8 trillion US dollars, an increase of more than 8%, accounting for nearly 60% of China's total exports in the same period. In a few years they will be electric, and some will have roofs with solar recharging. With new technology perovskite solar panels or even paint and more energy dense batteries, solar recharged EVs of all types should be possible. It can charge parked or moving as long as the sun shines and perovskites perform better than silicon in cloudy weather.
