In this video, I have discussed the Online image of Indians, which has often come into question and become a matter of mockery and trolling on the internet for people. I have compared the behaviour and attitude of Indians with that of another developed country and tried to highlight the reasons for getting hate online. I have explained in detail how the online behaviour of Indians, India's online image based on the content of Indian creators and influencers and Indians' way of living life attracts negative reactions on the internet. Turning a blind eye to the issue won’t erase it from the slate, you’re just asking to highlight the brighter side while ignoring reality. This is exactly the problem with Indian media, where they sextively show the world what they want it to see. More often than not, Indian media fabricates narratives, from the so-called emerging Indian economy to the Silicon Valley mantra of India. It’s time to man up and own the fact that Indian media has been faking it until they (hopefully) make it. Nobody wants to see the dirty side and I get that, but instead of ignoring it, fix it.

This month I went to India for the first time. Delhi/Agra/Jaipur/Goa/Mumbai. What struck me was how many contrasts there are. Some incredibly beautiful places, amazing food, lovely people, a Sikh temple feeding people free food out of the goodness of their hearts…. But also utterly disgusting streets, litter everywhere, extremely rude people, queue jumping, the number of times I got scammed, the hypocrisy, the lack of respect and how some more affluent Indians treated less affluent Indians. It really put me off. The driving…. Omg! I would come back for sure but not to big cities. I didn’t feel rested, comfortable, welcomed or even safe at times. I’d love for this to change, being civil is free, being respectful is free. But I can totally relate to what’s mentioned in this video. I was in Vietnam last year, the difference is striking. Do better India please! You have so many amazing things about you.

It isn’t online only image. It’s general image. As nice as India people are they become mostly rude, messy and entitled when out in foreign countries. They drive horribly causing 90% accidents. Scam and lie into persons face even to police also throwing garbage around and pooping on beaches. Being racists against white peoples don’t help. It’s disappointing especially when so many Indian are very nice cool people when known in person. My neighbour Kiran was an amazing man.

Im here because I had an Indian Roommate and I was wondering if what I was experiencing with him was normal. I thought he was rude, dirty, extremely smelly, and entitled and arrogant. But, I challeneged myself and questioned my perceptions. After thorough research, I am pleased to find that my initial perception was correct. I judge people individually but I am comfortable making the geberalization that Indians are stinky and rude. I pray they learn to change and become better.

This video is spot on. It is inconvenient truth. I was Indian. Left India at 27. Since then, I am living in the West for more than 19 years. I have traveled to developed countries, traveled to countries poorer than India, smaller than India, traveled to countries with literacy rate lower than India. However, when it comes to being civilized and a good citizens; Indians sucks. Train or bus or airport or in flight or on street - mostly uncivilized people, do not mind to offend others, selfish, self centered, irresponsible, not self aware, biased, ignore their own conscience, sense of self-entitlement, and no respect for women.

India has 1.5B people if only 50k people are bad, you can't say ALL Indians are bad. The ratio is still very low. I am Pakistani and I LOVE India and had a great experience in the past in India and with Indians. Also, Indians, Pakistanis, or Bengali, we are all like this because British looted and Fckued us in the past and still.

i agree with everything you say here, the first time i came to india (mumbai), I had to constantly argue when i saw literally everyone just threw plastics (garbages) just like that on the road or anywhere, then it came to a point where i stopped doing that cause there was no use, it still happens until now. of course, not all bad, i also find indians have a bigger heart aside from that. every country has its own good and bad, i guess.

You had to go to Japan to understand this, i get this daily. And im beimg felt,.'pagal hai kya' when i question people driving on wrong side, taking a turn without signalling, throwing trash on road even though its collected everyday but ur sleeping at that time. People think what they are doing is the most civic thung to do. Surprisingly even govt is blind towards this until there is a religious angle or monitory gain

Don't think India being dirty is due to these insta. I have been to Banglore. The closed whitefield area is absolutely clean. Just go to other places, and it is shit. I walked for 10 minutes in Banglore and nearly vomitted.

bruh trying to defend street food in india is wild. I have seen hundreds of videos from india and 90% of it is so unhygienic man. You're trying to make it sound like those are just the outliers when its the hygienic ones that actually are the 10% or less. Chopping up rotting fish on the side of the road with thousands of flies, never cleaning anything, rats everywhere etc.

Because India's good side is heavily under represented, look at the Philippines, the good side of Philippines get more views so that's what most influencers focus on, while the bad side of India gets more views so the influencers focus on that, if it were the opposite we wouldn't have this bad of a reputation in the West.

Lack of manners and Indians used to be inconsiderate towards everyone else, to foreigners is unthinkable a situation were someone is waiting for elevator door to open and a group of Indians push me out of the way to get in first into elevator, I wait and finally by myself going up the elevator stops and a large group of women in their customary garb black clothes, I can only see their eyes and thinking that their religious beliefs will prevail and would not get into the elevator with a foreigner. I was mistaken, all of then tried to fit in, I was pushed against a corner, both of my feet became the perfect space for someone to stomp over leaving me with feeling I was in a ring fighting for the last drop of oxygen.

Don’t forget foreigners are overcharged for almost everything, no doubt Indians are one of the friendliest and sweetest people in the world but many foreigners left with the feeling of being taken advantage of; beginning with hotel reservations, foreigners are charged sometimes double and in my experience I booked though an application, I check in, everything looks is going ok, then I’m informed my reservations doesn’t include anything from the restaurant and then at checkout out they claimed they never got payment from the application and that I need to pay again my room and anything consumed at the restaurant.

India has very serious problems affecting their society not the least of which is environmental pollution, water contamination, and criminal toxic waste disposal to name a few. These criteria directly affect the health of the population and I take exception to your statement about a small percentage being affected by salmonella typhoid and bacterial infections when in fact hundreds of thousands die each year from these infections a lot of which could be avoided by simple hygiene practices like hand washing and proper food handling. Most or the produce in India is contaminated with heavy metals and pesticide residue from chemicals banned in most other countries not to mention the air pollution from dust and smog which is directly related to catastrophic levels of respiratory disease. I don't know which part of privileged India you come from or what delusions you are suffering but take a brief look at the statistics....the place is a disaster on the brink of economic and social collapse exacerbated by some of the things I've mentioned and compounded by greed corruption and stupidity at every socio/political level
