Over the last few years there has been a surge in people emigrating from India, through both legal and illegal means. The video will address this issue of mass migration, exploring the underlying factors driving individuals to leave the country

@User13-03
I studied in kyrgyzstan for 6 years, the country is poorer than India and even Pakistan, but India is nothing in front of Kyrgyzstan when it comes to hygiene, cleanliness, woman safety, respect to the elders, discipline, traffic, clear sky, fresh air, weather, mannerisms, social awareness, mental peace and a lot of things. Neatness and cleanliness is not a function of how rich or poor you are but that of mentality and principle.

@medhavimanus
I was once a person who believed, "east to west, India is best". But, when I moved to UAE for job, my thinking completely changed. I was amazed that how clean the streets are, how footpath are footpath and not place do to do rentfree business, the traffic laws are strict, women can roam around at middle of night and no one cares. I don't want to go back to india anymore.

We indians dont demand good facilities or even accountability from our own govt. Just look at the election agendas of political parties. The leniency we maintain for corruption, civic sense and even cleanliness is pathetic. I used to brag about staying in my own country rather than moving out like most of my friends. I regret now.

@pratyush5302
As an Indian expat in Australia, I can say that the major reason for me leaving India is the lack of civic sense and mutual respect amongst the people there. Everyday somebody out there is phishing for you. It’s almost like a battle against zombies where everyone is trying to get you, trying to drag you down in one way or the other. There is little to no mental peace no matter where you live and how much money you make. It was never about earning in dollars or euros but about the mental peace because in the end that’s what everything boils down to.

@randomriddle539
it sucks here in india, overpopulation, pollution, no jobs, very low paying jobs, corruption, very high inflation rates, high tax rates, fucked up politicians, no value for life, exploitation of working class at work n no rules n regulations, shitty attitude n behaviour of people, religions r at war with each other etc etc etc etc etc, even i am moving out of here, india is only good on paper but actually on ground its unliveable

@newdailydosetv
Very well compiled, I’ve moved out of India 2 years ago after coming back from US 19 years ago. You’ve covered all points expect one, my kids are not fighters like I was and don’t see them surviving the rat race in India. Wanted them to have an easier life.

@LPBsnaha
I left India around 24 years ago for personal reasons, and back then, I didn’t encounter many Indians in the place I settled. However, nowadays, wherever I go, from small towns to cities, I notice a significant increase in the Indian population. More and more Indians are opting to leave India due to intense competition in various aspects of life, limited job opportunities, pollution, corruption, high living costs, expensive education, lack of work-life balance, and costly healthcare, among other challenges. This perception is based on conversations with recently arrived Indians abroad.

@Velaldo-nw7ve
I went to India for vacation for a month and after just 2 days I wanted to leave as soon as possible. The amount of poverty, noise pollution, air pollution, overcrowdness, slums, dirtiness, excessive heat made me wanted to just leave.

@theshillonggirl
Not going back anymore- every year I change my mind that I will go back and work for my people, but then every vacation I spend in India- I am only disappointed.
The whole standard of living, education system, rules and jobs - my brother told me there was a a govt post for a security guard at a zoo- and 10,000 people applied including PhDs and Engineers- it’s sad - no wonder we all who can somehow leave - are leaving and unfortunately helping other nations with our contributions.

@pritamghosh4158
Three years back left India.. My heart is with India but when think about Safety & security, Kids education,Medical benefits & quality of life hold be back..My health was getting worse due to too much of late work & at the end no promotion.

@FirstFrequency
The real development begins in the minds of the people. No matter how many bridges, bullet trains and skyscrapers you build, if people are going to drive like maniacs and don't think pedestrians exist, spit while driving and riding, light up fireworks that enter houses during Diwali, and dump trash in rivers, the true progress remains elusive. Sustainable development requires a shift in mindset, a collective awakening that goes beyond the physical structures and embraces a cultural evolution. Until that happens, I am never looking back.

@subramanianannamalai8333
Completely agree with each and every point that you said. I struggle every day to over come all these issues. It is not like i dislike India, but when basic needs are a struggle it gets you hard and depressed. Hopefully I find a way out.

@devilchats9528
I have a house in a village(panchayat) area which is located at a 30 minutes distance from the city where I live. I went to my house to live for about 10 months as an experiment to see how it really feels to stay in a village area and there, I got to know what the real India looks like. I didn't realize the issues while I was staying in my city. All those corruptions, theft have changed the perception of whole India in my book. Another thing I noticed living there is that there is no drainage facility, bad electricity service where there is daily power cut for two - eight hours, no drinking water supply. I had to buy 20 litres drinking water bottles daily which was a pain. I never had such problems living in the city of joy. It seems people living in villages have no idea what facilities they should get from our govt. Sad, indeed. I just could not live there any longer so I returned to the city after 10 months of physical and mental torture. I do go there for from time to time but avoid staying there at night and do not interact much with the locals. It was a hell not because of the lack of facilities but because of the political goons asking for money at every single time I breathe for absurd reasons. Disgusting as f***. No wonder people are leaving the country.

@OhnoPablito
Spot on !! I left India after working for 16 years. Caste, favoritism, veg or no vegetarian, diff rules for diff people. Sucking up to the boss while he openly insults. Tired and got tired of this sh**t. Started my life from zero and guess what i am happy, content and well recognized. Started 2 businesses with out paying a single penny as a bribe, owned a home in 5 years, invested and make six figures. Hygiene, hospitality, integrity, basic courtesy all were well worth it.

@ronniep9272
The worst are those who leave and still talk about how great India is and celebrate things like Indian independence day. Just forget about that. The only thing I like about India is the food, music and some spirituality.

@factspk373
I am working in saudi arab , i am truck driver .. i came back to india after 5 years , i was shocked to see there is NO infrastructure in 90 percent of areas in india , india is far behind arab countries, let alone developed countries like UK usa canada Australia

@bondhutto
Stop feeling 'proud' of being an Indian. What is this pride coming from? Were you given multiple options and you chose Indis as your birth country? What is the basis of this so-called 'pride'? Some historical facts and mythologies? Will those feed you? Will those give you security? Will those fulfill your basic needs?
Stop feeling 'proud' as an Indian. I am an Indian, living abroad. This is just a fact. There's nothing to be proud of it. It bleeds a lot to live away from my own land. But I don't dare to come back.

@krishna_v98
When i first started working in the US, I wanted to take a leave and asked my manager. He misunderstood that I was informing him and responded with “thanks for letting me know”. Then i realized that taking a leave here at least where I work doesn’t require permission. I just apply for it and put it on calendar for everyone to know. And the team and manager do their best to not ping the one on a leave or vacation.
I was surprised by this respect for an individual. This is what completely lacked while I was working in India.

@attoti204
Well, I will present a peculiar complaint of mine. I deliberately did not leave country while most of my cousins did. Not that I am a patriot but just did not have any special interest in any other country. I got my PhD recently from IIT Delhi and started a job at Vadodara. I must say that I am very sensitive to sound; I can't sleep with any unusual ambient noise. I am surprised at the loud speaker culture here at Vadodara, people just randomly start loud music for every minor occasion or pooja and don't stop till midnight, without bearing in mind the noise pollution they are forcing on others. I called local police station once at 10:30 PM and complained about local noise. Unsurprisingly, they asked me to come to police station and lodge a formal complaint with all my details. I am slowly getting frustrated with such noise at nights and days. So, my only appeal to leave country would be a serene surrounding.

I left India last year and moved to US, I feel so better in US, In India I was literally doing a charity as a tax payer, The middle class we have been suffering for ever, BJP Congress they both are vote bank politics and only care for farmers and rich. After watching this video I am not 100% sure I made the right decision. My family lifestyle has changed, good food, fresh air we deserve this.

@rome316ae3
Another worst part about India is that there is no sense of unity . I have seen Chinese, Arabs who are always united and live peacefully with the goal of developing the country. Meanwhile Indian community is always divided with hatred towards others. In india people get respected if they are from high caste or from rich family. There is a huge inferiority complex there

@justgary2471
I used to work for OnePlus and when we opened our flagship store we hired a bunch of cops for security reasons. When they came they asked for more money or they’d leave. They kept asking every couple of hours. Our team had a couple of woman colleagues as well, when we were walking on the streets they were getting stared at and during the opening of the store they were “accidentally touched”. India might be a growing economy but they will never be a global super power. It’s rotten from the core there’s so much distrust and unethical bs going around there.

@virtutepuella7766
Millions of Indian nurses have moved to abroad for two main reasons : the toxic work culture and the undeserving salary that the Indian hospital pay for their nurses . hospitals are in huge shortage of nurses still , but despite India producing one of the best nurses in the world , they all head to abroad for a better work environment and better life !

@kittyind
I left India 30 Years ago, there were many reasons.
In mid 80's VP. Singhs reservation system obliterated the chance of employment. I was a teacher and another was allotted to the same post, though he had failed in the previous years. (some may disagree with this it is fine).
Technology, only in the last decade have we seen the technology change; even in the early 2000's Bangalore was filled with call centers (BPOs). No innovation, the college I studied at uses the same old syllabus with minor upxes.
Though corruption exists, it is not only rampant. How many of them work ethically? (i.e When the Bank mentions 9-5, it is at 9 AM they serve the customer not opening the door at 9 AM). I have worked in most private companies, we are always ahead 10 minutes to warm up and stretch before we begin work (sometimes handover).
Many citizens though they earn more, have fake certificates to reduce their contribution to society. With the advent of e-pay systems, Hope IT is going to be efficient in claiming tax from the citizens.
Freebie culture, many states' adoption of freebie culture has decimated the economies of their respective states.
How many government employees do children study in government schools? They know, the quality of the teachers, you need brilliant teachers to produce brilliant minds. Not all can become exceptional. There are few schools in Bangalore, where even teachers' vehicles occupy the pavements (footpaths which are meant for public walking). Education is different from knowledge, we are only pumping out students who are educated not with Knowledge. (This may have changed since my last visit).

@nishank_baba
I hope those who went away from India won't be affected by the growing racism, xenophobia and hate crimes happening against Indians. Well the online version of that hate is at all time high and now it will increase more with growing population. Seems like a concerning issue.
