If you are a Bright Unreserved General Category student , please leave India if possible , Reservation and Taxation both will only increase in the future.

I would rather spend money aborad than giving 1/3rd of my income here for absolutely nothing but paying for politician's kids ke gulcharre.

I got to a big name Canadian university, and from what I've seen, both indians and Chinese come outside to study. But the difference is, all my Chinese friends are planning to head back, whereas all my indian friends are planning to stay.

India is incredibly lucky that Countries like US, and regions like EU have strict admission quotas and restricted access to indian students. otherwise far more will leave

Nobody leaves their homeland happily, our country's outdated education system, lack of skills, cut throat competition and meager salary forces our youth to abandon their homeland to earn decent income and have healthy, dignified life

ive been trolled and being reminded that i am worthless since 9th grade here in india because i am only exceptional in coding and dumb in most other subjects , i passed 12th grade with average marks but now i have a game development and web 3 startup with good funds and over 100 people working under me . Planning to leave india to achieve a more fair and supportive env and to heal all the trauma i got from everyone here not to mention the new tax laws and spectrum licensing auctions.

I am a JEE aspirant from a lower-middle-class family. If people like us are considering studying abroad, then there is something seriously wrong. In one shift of JEE Mains, scoring 240 gets you a 99 percentile, while in another paper of the same difficulty, 150 gets you the same percentile. What are students supposed to do, pray for luck? There are paper leaks, and the government doesn't seem to care. We only have 17,000 seats in IITs. Exam preparation has become very accessible to everyone, hence the competition has skyrocketed but we can only accommodate around 1-2% of students. If you're not in the top 1-2%, you'll have no options in Indian colleges. leave engineers in medical we can only accommodate 25-30k students out of 25 lakh aspirants.
before a day or two our education minister was taking pride in saying our students are going abroad and our diaspora is increasing.
I don't understand how we are going top become "VISVA GURU", we have millionaires, billionaires leaving India, good students (future millionaires) leaving India how are we going to become 5 trillion economy

@akashytsamanta
I don't want to leave but these worst system of india forcing me to . Garbage everywhere, pollution, bad teachers, bad inra, outdated syllabus, etc etc ...... kya yaar , completely disappointing .

@prophetg306
I am leaving in a few months, my employer asked me to come to Europe and while taxes are higher atleast I get something in terms of public services, I've been paying taxes for 10 years and I don't find anything for myself from state. Not sure even if Europe is for long run but atleast for sometime and then I will see. For a general category person, tbh things are only going to get worse and state will only dance on your grave at bad times.

@iamkritik
I am an Indian living in Finland and I can tell you I love India to its core but a big But I will never move back to India. There are multiple reasons to that and Politics is the biggest reason, Party in the government do religion politics, party in opposition do caste politics and party who came into effect just because of its anti corruption is under corruption scandals now. Plus the taxes in India are comparable to Finland but lifestyle and infrastructure is only comparable to Africa despite government having money to make changes they are not doing that. And I hope I will be proved wrong by the growth of India cuz tbh I am not seeing that happening, we might cross US in GDP by 2050 but we still won't be a high income country and that's what scares me. I am not a super smart person, I am an ordinary person who wants to live ordinary life but to live like that in India is pretty difficult. So, Its better to live outside India. And I hope I never have to return back.

@arharsh46
Its not only about quality of education. It's about quality of life, exachage rates while sending money back, the kind of house you can have.
Another reason is the reservation. If you are from open category student you don't get any benefit plus not many seats available.
Also if you have to come back to India the same student will be paid better compared the peers who have stayed back. That is true for people who are educated at india and get experince for few years abroad and comes back

@archana8321
i live in australia. my husband is a citizen and i am on spouse visa. i find australian’s so friendly and nice . it is such beautiful and peaceful country .i gave nvr faced bad behaviour from Australians but yes i have faced it from indians living in australia. they are so rude and proudy

@jswlprtk
Unfortunately 'abroad' in India refers to a few sext countries like US, Canada, uk, Australia, new zealand. People move here and expect lifestyle like eu countries. Also people don't realise how much inequality exists and what's the bottom line for most households there. Also once you are post 60, it's better to live a retirement life in tier 1 India where private healthcare is so much better as most docs have studied abroad too and the savings corpus is more lucrative in india due to ppp.

@dogwoofwoof8154
We general don't have much option, in our country we treated like shi , our ancestors wrote vedas, upnishads and gave teaching of dharma to everyone, fought war sacrifed there selves to protect this nation and now we are here fighting for our own rights...no jobs for us because of reservation private jobs are our only option...no schemes for us and now states like Karnatak more narrowing our chances....In our own country we are treated like foreigners... Politicians don't even care about us...except sucking our money on taxes... it's better to live somewhere else atleast we will have more opportunity...we have came a long way didn't we

@user-cl8xk5bq3u
im leaving for Europe this September too. I tried my shot at the entrance exams but unfortunately due to reservation and all. I wish I could help my own country by staying there, but getting into a world top 50 uni is easier than Indian exams for general students

@koraGG95
This year I have taken bank exams. In 2 exams 2 sc friends of mine got the po and clerk post with the exact same number that i have scored. Literally I'm shattered. In future if i get a good chance to leave india i will not hesitate a bit. And don't write anything about caste and bla bla in the reply section.

@ritz84in
I moved abroad at age 38. Did my undergraduate degree in India and was working for almost 8 years. No growth at all. Salary increased by 2,000 rupees each year hahaha. No promotion. Just kept working like a donkey. I arrived in Australia completed my master's and now earning my monthly salary in India in one week. That is 4-5 times more with the same amount of effort.

@vedanshchn
It's not as bad as he explained. My school classmates who went abroad are happily living in America, Australia and UK (I'm not talking 'bout Canada as I agree with the claims made here) and have even begun working and then there's me still struggling to find a job as a fresher lol
This video turned into a patriotic one eventually which is ironic considering people has just recently opened their eyes and have seen the insane double taxation system yet we don't get anything really in return. The government here spends money on projects that can't even bare weather conditions like monsoons.
In this Budget 2024, they focused on what? Impressing the regional parties they've collaborated with.

@deepsinghdhaliwal444
The biggest blessing and curse for Indians is our vast population. Additionally, people often focus on just one or two sectors. As a history MA graduate, I was surprised to learn that only six students in my college had chosen history as their major subject. Despite this, I was fortunate enough to land a job at a research firm in Finland, where I now work as an underwater archaeologist and Historical archaeologist . It's been three years since I completed my master's degree, and I'm proud to say that I got the job through my hard work and dedication, without any connections or competition. However, some of my friends who hold postgraduate degrees in BTech and BSc are still struggling to find employment. Meanwhile, I work remotely from India for the Finland-based research firm. Unfortunately, Indian institutions still lack advanced technology for historical research, forcing me to rely on foreign tools to complete my research papers.i wish India grow more .

@rohitvaishnav25
Agreed with all points except the one on long term prospects. It requires a nuanced discussion. While India is expected to see growth, there are certain professions that I don't see growing at a favorable pace for the current and next generation to benefit of. Some of these include research (in most fields), acting/media, music, fashion, teaching, sports, etc. Also, tier 1 cities will almost reach an unlivable state because of reasons like high population, pollution, and traffic. It is also a lot harder to redesign and reimplement the infrastructure in such cities considering how many people live there. I think India's future largely depends on how well we correct our mistakes in developing tier 2 and 3 cities. Besides there are many other reasons for permanently settling abroad too like experiencing diversity and interacting with people with better civic sense.

@mihirdoshi1314
I am watching this video from Canada and I have to tell you that the actual ground reality is completely different than what the consultant or the internet would tell you. The inflation is out of control, housing prices are high, the healthcare system is horrible and there is a huge problem of drugs here. Last year Canada added almost a million people through its various immigration programs and how many houses were constructed? Around 200,000. Where will all of these immigrants live? No doubt the housing prices are skyrocketing. It just becomes unaffordable. The internet prices are high because there are only 3-4 major companies who control the entire market. Now talking about healthcare. It’s a blessing if you don’t fall sick. But life is unpredictable. Once my friend was having an asthma attack and she had to sit in the emergency room for more than 8 hours. I’m not talking about any treatment. She was just made to sit there. What if something happened that day to her? Who would take the responsibility? There is something called family doctor here where if something happens you have to go to that doctor. People are waiting 2-3 years just to get a family doctor !!! There are walk-in clinics here but for that also getting the appointment is difficult. India has more than double the population of Canada and still the healthcare system there is a thousand times better than here. Respect to all the doctors in India . Shifting focus to drugs for but here. I know people watching this video would probably not do any drugs. But drugs is a major problem here. Specially in British Columbia as it is legal. And the homeless people do some crazy stuff when they are on drugs. Once a homeless man pushed me and just walked away and I couldn’t do anything. Because if I do, I would be arrested due to some weird human rights violation law. How does this make any sense. Should I not defend myself? I do not feel safe while walking in downtown during the night. And the worst part is that a portion of the tax that we pay from our hard earned money goes to these homeless people. And what do they do with that money? They buy drugs.
If you are earning 2000 Canadian dollars, do not think that you are earning INR 120,000 and be happy. Because your expenses would be around INR 100,000. So I would suggest that if you are well settled in India, have a decent paying job, and the most important thing…family, would not recommend you to come to Canada. The advertisement about Canada is very different from the actual ground reality here.

@shivsagar-mishra
whatever you said is totally 100% correct. we are suffering here. nothing can be improved for us in next 0 to 15 years. even after changing the education systems. it is taking too much time to implement it completely. we are forced leave the country and do whatever we can for our future or career development.

@Unknownguy0205
There are only sexted career options in India to survive in cities like Mumbai or Bangalore. Even in engineering, only CSE and ECE are the only branches that get proper placements to settle in tier-1 cities. Other branches like Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Biotechnology, and Chemical engineering don't get many job opportunities in India, they've to settle for government jobs or work in mass recruiters for some 3-6lpa jobs. This is the harsh reality of India. If India at least starts giving jobs to core branches in their domain, it would also help the economy and also decrease the competition in IT and software jobs.

@Kaamkipadhai
The thing is we are proud that indians are everywhere wherever you go you will get indians. And obviously it is very frustrating for all those people who lives there and the racism is somewhere justified. But our country does not change thats why people are anywhere else
