i am living in USA ���� from 6 years . I have gone for studies in USA from India but when i get a offer for a job in USA and become the citizen of USA i cannot denied it . And few years later when i have received my USA green card then i bring my all of my family members to USA and now my all of my family members have their green card .

The main issue is that nobody is saying anything. Everywhere I see "Proud to be an Indian," but in reality, nobody is proud. The future is created by it's people not the government.

Left country 30 years back. Came back 10 years....to suffer...pollution, traffic, no clean water, education institutions in pockets of political people, medical facility a mafia, corruption at every level ( had to pay 5000 Rs to get a family tree document ). Closing my company down and leaving. My Indian dream shall remain only a dream.

Totally agree with you. I live in Pune, Undri where there are no proper roads (polluted with dust), no street lights, no drinking water BUT I pay property tax and all the taxes in India. Our society (32 flats) pay 50,000/- per month for water tanker.

If I get a chance to leave ����, I won't hesitate! from the past 6 years, I've been trying to correct a mistake in my government document that THEY made, and it's still not done. It's only 6 days of work! I pay over 1.5 lac in taxes every year, and all I get in return is frustration. I've met with politicians, the collector, and even complained on social media and government portals, but no one is solving my problem. I'm tired of dealing with corrupt people!

I am a NRI, I invested about 2 crores in petroleum pump and a house. Filed taxes through accountant regularly. In April 2024 I received notice from department Texation of 4 crores rupees to pay immediately. I shut the petrol pump, locked my house and decided to go back to my adapted country.

A tax payer should have a card. With that card one should get discount on Big hospital bills, Insurance, Education of their children, Property purchase & benefits on Govt schemes. We are paying taxes & all benefits are going to vote banks of political parties.

I came to Turkey some 3 years ago. I had hotel in India. The electricity dept and municipality made my life hell. The taxes broke my back. Finally I left.
It was hard but after coming here I am very happy and growing.
I am helping my fellow Indians also to move to Istanbul.
Brother is so right I faced all those problems in India. I can feel his pain.

I worked in Mumbai for 13 years. Came back to my home state Jharkhand to start a business. Trust me it is IMPOSSIBLE to do anything. The corruption has creaped into all levels. I am trying to move to Europe now. I can't do anything. I am compelled to get out of the country. I tried everything but situation is Worst. Leave the country if you can or you will be stuck in a corrupt system.

I always feel a 'country' is a collective thinking of the majority.. which means, it's not the problem of government, it's the mindset of people. Leaving the group of such mindset is what HNI, wealthy people choose

This is 100% True! Small business owners are currently bleeding. And no support from govt. Actually, in India, nobody really cares about anything. If this continues, more people will love India. We all love our country but no one is interested in paying attention to the problems and trying to resolve them. Expenses are much more than income these days.

It takes a lot of courage and guts to speak on this matter in India because some people would label you as Gaddar and Namak haram etc... for putting your struggle in limelight. Every system in India is a failure, no plan before it's implementation!

I left India in 1976and never regretted. I love India but will not be returning. I am in Canada where I have paid my taxes. I have free healthcare, government pension, taxes rebates. People in India can say whatever they want.

You have spoken my heart out, each and every statements are very relatable. Thats the reason I moved from India and whenever i visit India, feel like that was best decision, I do miss India and indian food but sometimes have to think practically and do what works better for us.

We Nepalese ���� are also facing similar problem. We pay highest tax rate in south Asia and get nothing in return other than political instability. In every 6 month, corrupt politicians change the law for their own benefits.

I agree with you bro. I am a salaried employee and pay 15,000/- monthly tax and still not get anything from Govt, the air pollution and adverse climatic effect are at peak. I am also thinking to relocate in Foreign country

True. I have already dissolved my Pvt Ltd company and have shifted to Dubai. I know taxes in India is high. But the major reason is not taxes, its uncertainty and only one way accountaibility. One way accountaibility means that we have to file all required filings in time and pay penalty or lick bureaucrat's shoes if there is some delay or a honest mistake. But, if there's death due to potholes, bad air, bad water, bad traffic or even dengue (due to bad santitation from Municipal), then Govt is not equally responsible.

After BJP's Rule, Few changes which impacted everyone equally or which will impact eventually.
Removing Indexation benefits on Debt funds. Now its on income slab same like FD.
Removing Zero tax benefits on Stock Dividends. Now its on income slab.
Removed zero LTCG benefits on Stocks and MFs long term holding . Now increased to flat 10% on profits.
4)Prev Government introduced STT charges on stocks to compensate the removal of LTCG in Equities. This Gov removed that LTCG benefit and have retained the STT charges (worst decision).
5)All avenues were you can make money to prosper is getting tightened.
Day by Day we are slowly declining from Middle class status, and irony is most of us are not even aware of that fact.

I am 57 and it is hard for me to take a decision. However, I am sending my son for graduation to Germany and suggest everyone, who can afford, to do that. We have already sent our nephew to Germany for Post-graduation.

Taxes is problem but bigger problem is we don't even get basic facilities. All money goes to politicians or either very poor people under some scheme. No roads, infrastructure, hospitals, education, no support for unemployed people, no one will care of my family even if i die. No help from government at allll. Better earn high and settle some good country. In my opinion you have taken perfect decision

There is no point living in this country when you can afford to leave. In next few years, I will also enter that HNWI category, and immediately I will leave India. Paying taxes and getting no ROI is the most painful thing. We the honest, hard woking, law abiding citizens of this country gets betrayal, nothing else.
And the worst part is we cannot highlight our issues with other people because people like us are a political minority, no one highlights our issues. Whenever people like us raise our voice, we get targeted by trolls and are declared anti-nationals, anti-hindu, and what not. India is not for deserving, honest, hardworking, law abiding people.
