I am 28 years old. This video relates with my life completely.. My parents are so strict and they never listen about my interest. and they choose the career option for me which I didn't like and became failure. For their strictness I’m under confident and afraid at every time. When I couldn't succeed after completing my studies I was so depressed. There are so many children who suffered so much due to lack of communication with their parents ... They don't understand our situation, interest.. Everytime they thought about our society, what other people talked.. When I watch this video, I became speechless and emotional .This things happened to most of the children....Now I am trying to become a successful person ... I write Bengali poetry and definitely I will fulfill my dream in near future though everyone laughs at me for this and no one supports me till now. ....Lets hope for the best. I have studied MSc Physics. Afterwards I took B.Ed. But now I'm a full time Embroidery artist. I'm really happy with my profession. Still my parents and in-laws feel that I should pursue a government teaching job.

Looking back I realise how terribly teachers, especially history, used to teach subjects at school, they used to tell "this is the syllabus, these are the chapters, I'll give you notes, now learn everything line by line". No wonder so many students finds subjects boring or difficult to learn when taught in a horrible manner.

Knowing the problem and still not being able to solve it feels like hell. Emotional and mental trauma gets created in the Head leading to self-doubt and regret..... I was physically punished till my late teens which took a big toll on my confidence and decision-making abilities. Sir, I saw your video on the 'Dark Reality of the Indian Education System'. Indeed, we are still not exploring various curricular options in schools or junior colleges. Till 12th grade, I wasn't aware of the stream called 'Social Work'. And now I am a graduate with Bachelor's in Social Work. I am a Professional Social Worker but, it's very difficult for me to explain to people about this field despite having a very famous Social Work institution 'Tata Institution of Social Science ' (TISS). I think it is because of not getting licenses like other professional fields like Advocates/lawyers or Doctors etc. I think it must be because people can only see what is recognized or have licenses. I wished if you could make some videos to help layman to get knowledge about Professional Social Workers. It will be great for me as people will get to know about this field.

I am 200% sure that my parents would say " yeh zayada YouTube dekh dekhke sikh rahi hai " " sunati hai woh ek ladke ko jo aata hai aur badi badi baate karta hai ".
You spoke my mind for every single minute of this video. I was kind of low esteemed , and self doubting myself because of no parents support and their continuous 'tane ' since i have decided a non conventional career for me .
But this video relieved my pressure and made me feel little confident .
Btw i had spoken this line a lot of times " yeh meri life hai , mujhe decide karne do mujhe kya Banna hai " but in reply what i get "abhi humare under hai , humari Sunni padegi !!! " .
I am tired of my parents who think i am their slave.
Moreover , they are money givers .
And if i think of earning myself like freelancing and all, they say " abhi bahut samay hai , aage paise hi kamne hai zindagi bhar " . And they become very polite at this moment ,maybe they know that if i become financially independent, they will lose the control over me .

Being in a private Pharmacy college, I can totally relate with this video, I really feel sometimes that education is just a business here & just mean to be memorized, where formalities are everything, no importance for research or innovation like things, and knowing this issue we are still unable to solve it feels like depressed, This video was really needed, Kudos to you for this stand.

At the age of 38, on top of my current job in IT, I'm learning ethical hacking and cybersecurity at night and on weekends. Investing my time and energy in certifications and skills rather than complaining.

Absolutely correct. In advanced countries like USA if someone ask the children what they would like to become their a lot of different types of answers starting from a baker or a farmer to chemist. But in India it's always either engineering or medical. Slowly civil service is also getting the same vibe.
